Budget Changes - Increase in Redundancy Payments
Alastair Darling, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, announced in the recent Budget that the upper limit on the amount of a week's pay that can be taken into account for statutory redundancy payment purposes will increase from £350 to £380. This is expected to take effect from 1st October 2009.
